Agility , efficiency and flexibility are the key words that characterize ASEM in its continuous quest for innovation . With this in mind, ASEM has made an important investment in the field of product certification: the installation of an anechoic chamber.
The anechoic chamber allows for increased control throughout the design phase: any corrections and adjustments on prototypes can be carried out in extremely reduced time, zeroing shipping time and logistics with external entities.
It is full compliant semi-anechoic chamber, characterized up to the frequency of 18GHz, for radiated measurements at the distance of 3m. It is equipped with antennas, radio-frequency amplifiers, a signal generator and an EMI receiver. Such equipment makes it possible to perform radiated emission and radiated immunity tests up to the frequency of 6GHz.
The installation of the anechoic chamber is part of a larger project, the goal of which is to obtain a certified in-house laboratory so as to internalize more and more tests that to date are done by external laboratories: Electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) tests, Shock and Vibe mechanical tests, environmental tests, IP tests, dust etc.
